Bedrock Mapping

Yukon has a diversity of geology but less than 10% is mapped at a scale suitable for detailed mineral exploration. The Yukon Geological Survey is undertaking aggressive 1:50 000 scale bedrock mapping and contributes to the GSC's NATMAP projects.
