Recent Updates

Amendments to the Quartz Mining Act and the Miners Lien Act have been passed that give new certainty to the Yukon's mineral sector. These amendments have streamlined and modernized the legislation.

Seven specific sections of claim administration within the Quartz Mining Act have been changed to better facilitate the day-to-day administration of Yukon’s mineral industry.
